oh yea lupe is ill..but i feel like nothing he spits is so smart that he needs to dumb it down...he just spits so abstract...sometimes das coo..it all depends on what his purpose is...if his purpose is to move the people u have to speak the peoples language...lupe knew what he was doing from the moment he dropped his album so to make a song like dumb it down saying people dont understand u...whos fault is dat?...everybody knows ur different lupe why make a song to seperate urslef even more...the only people who can really feel his joints are people like u and me...and that demographic is pretty small..so when album sales come out ...why get upset?

Lupe's "Food & Liquor" wasn't better than any of his mixtapes, honestly. He kept a main focus as you do on an album, but he did a really good job on the LP too. Yeh, you can't deny* that his flow is nice, Heather, but what about when her rapped on the Jayz's "dead presidents" beat, SICK!!
When I first heard this track, I damn near stood up in middle the computer lab @ my college and gave Lupe a stand O. The message in this song needs to be heard. This is a song that every up and coming MC needs to hear. The video is perfect with it. No flash, just that raw shit: Lupe tearing it down on camera.
I was surprised by the vid&song. In a positive way that is! None of that 80's stuff, just black&white straight gangster..lol.. Feelin' it!!
